How to make summer go by faster?

Next year I'm going to high school, and can't wait. I'm not really a summer fan. I hate the heat, and don't have many friends, so it's not like I have someone to hangout with every second of the day. I love school, honestly. I love reading and learning. I love going to the library, but you can't walk anywhere where I live. I live in a community and the closest store is an hour away by car. My friend IS coming to visit(she lives pretty far away) and we are going to go to the library and the bookstore, but what am I going to do for the rest of the summer? She also might come and live with us for the summer. We also don't have a lot of money, so we can't go on vacation. We are going to go to Dorney Park and Knoebels and my friend is coming. I want a job, but I'm 14 and there are no jobs where I live. I can't do jobs for the neighbors, because my parents won't let me. What shuld I do the whole summer?!
