Need to sync ipod touch to new computer but it is a different library?

I want to sync my ipod touch to my new laptop but when i hit "sync" a box pops up saying either erase and sync or transfer purchases. i want to just sync it regular but it says it can only be synced to one library at a time. what do i do?
