Just be casual. Tell him who you are and your name, and say that if he needs anybody to babysit, you'd be happy to do it. Don't write a long, drawn-out email. Just say a few things about yourself, like you love kids, you can cook simple meals, can help with reading or school work. Anything like that. Good luck
