Can my leopard gecko survive the weekend without food?

I have a six inch leopard gecko so he is not fully grown yet, and I am planning to go away for the weekend in about two weeks, and can't get a pet sitter, so I am wondering if he could go the weekend without food, or should I leave a lot in his cage or what? He does have a nice big fat tail though.
