How To Take Care Of A Betta?

I would go to the pet store and get a betta tank. I watched my friends betta for a little bit and it was so easy to care for it was ridiculous. the tank had a little filter and a light and you just dropped in a few little pellets a day. Then once in a blue moon you cleaned the filter and rocks. It was the easiest fish I ever had. But you can only have one per tank.
