On flvs, do you need a parent to do a DBA? ( Discussion Based Assessment ) ?

My dad is supposed to be going to work for 5 - 6 weeks soon, and I'm going to need to do some dba's because i'm planning on finshing flvs soon. So can a sister/baby sitter talk to them and will it still count? Or is a DBA between just the student and the instructor?
