Having a problem with my tragus need help fast!?

I got my tragus pierced 6 months ago. I thought it was fully healed I can twist it and it donst hurt at all. The ball of the captivity ring feel off when I was cleaning it so i changed the jewlwery. Now my tragus is soooo sore and I'm scared it going to get infected. I put a surgical stainless steal tragus bar in it. Do u think it's going to get infected ? What should I do?
